Web3 overview

Purpose

This page defines how common Web3 terms are used on Bitvexo pages. It is descriptive only and must not be read as a, or evaluation of any platform, network, or tool.

Wallet-based access language

References to wallets describe a category of access pattern only. They do not imply safety, suitability, or that a specific wallet is required.

On-chain vs off-chain language

“On-chain” refers to activity recorded on a public blockchain. “Off-chain” refers to activity not recorded on-chain. Either term must not be interpreted as a trust signal, a quality signal, or a compliance signal.

Smart contract terminology

Mentions of smart contracts or proxy patterns are general terminology references only. This site does not publish contract addresses, transaction hashes, or “proof” artifacts.
